According to the mayor, at least 18 drones have been shot down on their way to Moscow, reports Kyiv Independent . The Russian Defense Ministry, meanwhile, states that a total of 25 drones have been shot down in the region around the capital, and in the country as a whole, 130 drones have been neutralized during the night.
There have been no reports of deaths or damage to buildings.
Earlier on Sunday, an energy facility was reported to have been "seriously damaged" in a rocket attack in the Russian city of Belgorod, according to the border region's governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov.
The governor also states that residential buildings were damaged in the attack.
