The streaming service has gone by many names over the years, including HBO, HBO Nordic, HBO Max, and the current Max. But now the owners are choosing to return to the name HBO Max.
"We're taking back HBO, the brand that represents the highest quality in media, to further accelerate growth in the coming years," says the company's CEO David Zaslav in a press release.
The name change is planned to take place this summer.
