In an interview in Dagens Industri, Max Martin says that he is leaving Los Angeles to move back home to Stockholm.
The reasons are several:
Sweden is fantastic, that's one reason. Another is private, with the proximity to parents and family. A third is that in Los Angeles, where the music industry is centered, everything comes so close. I feel like I can't really take it anymore, he says in the interview.
Max Martin has had 28 number-one singles on the Billboard singles chart and is one of the world's most renowned music producers. He was awarded the Polar Prize in 2016 and recently produced Taylor Swift's new album "The Life of a Showgirl" with Karl Johan "Shellback" Schuster.
