The catalog includes iconic hits such as Taylor Swift's "Style" and "...Ready for It?", Ariana Grande's "Problem", The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" and Imagine Dragons' "Believer".

"We are proud to partner with them and help manage the legacy of this remarkable catalog," buyer HarbourView said in a statement, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The price is not known.

“Natural partner”

The duo's previous hits from before Wolf Cousins, which was founded in 2010, do not appear to be included in the deal. The collective was created by Max Martin (Karl Martin Sandberg) and Shellback (Karl Johan Schuster) and includes songwriters and producers such as Ilya Salmanzadeh, Oscar Holter, Tove Lo, Ludvig Söderberg and Jakob Jerlström.

“Wolf Cousins was founded to bring together songwriters and producers in an environment built on collaboration, mentorship and creative development. HarbourView’s long-term vision and respect for creators make them a natural partner for this work,” Shellback and Max Martin said in a statement.

The two Swedes are two of the most acclaimed hitmakers in the music industry and have also made a long list of hits for Pink, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Usher.

Number two on Billboard

Max Martin has the second most Billboard number-ones of all time, beaten only by Paul McCartney.

HarbourView has recently acquired several song catalogs, including Chaka Khan's and Kelly Clarkson's.

A long list of major artists and bands have sold their song catalogs for very large sums to other players. These include Paul Simon, ZZ Top, Shakira, Sting, Justin Bieber, Genesis, Rod Stewart and Linda Ronstadt.
