After two seasons and a Swedish championship gold medal with Häcken, Matilda Nildén is leaving. The striker has been sold to Tottenham.
"I'm so excited and really happy to be here. I think this is the right step for me, because the club wants to develop players and I feel they have a clear plan for me," Nildén says on the English club's website.
In addition to becoming teammates with her older sister Amanda Nildén, Matilda is reunited with Hanna Wijk and Josefine Rybrink, whom she previously played with at Häcken.
Matilda Nildén joined Häcken for the 2024 season from AIK.
"I didn't think it would be so emotional to take the step away from Häcken. I really feel that everyone has meant so much - the teammates, the leaders and the people around me," she says in a statement on Häcken's website.
