On Thursday, the Italian giant club Milan confirmed that they had chosen to part ways with coach Sérgio Conceição after just half a year.
Now it is clear who his replacement will be.
On Friday, the club presented Massimiliano Allegri as the new head coach. Thus, he returns to the club, which he coached between 2010 and 2014.
The 57-year-old has a long and solid coaching career, and has been strongly linked to Serie A champion Napoli in recent weeks.
But instead, the champion chose to extend with Antonio Conte, which thus opened the door for Milan, who snapped up the opportunity directly.
Allegri has been clubless since leaving Juventus in May 2024.
The Italian has won a total of six league titles in Italy, five with Juventus and one with Milan.
