Six people were injured in the shooting in October 2025. However, the range of the bullets means that a number of additional people who were on Södra Kungsgatan in Gävle are considered victims, prosecutor Jenny Örn tells P4 Gävleborg.
The 14-year-old is suspected of a total of 28 attempted murders. Because he was not of legal age, he cannot be charged, and a so-called evidentiary hearing is likely to be held instead, in which the court will have to decide on his guilt.
A 25-year-old man is suspected of aiding and abetting attempted murder, but it is unclear whether the evidence against him is sufficient for prosecution.
