The shooting took place early on Sunday morning, American time. Several visitors are said to have fled to nearby buildings to seek shelter from the shots.
In a statement, the police write:
"This is a tragic and difficult event for everyone. We ask for your patience while we continue to investigate the incident. Our thoughts go to all the victims and their relatives".
Among the injured, four are said to be in critical condition. The shooter's identity and motive are still unknown.
