Arsenal's Viktor Gyökeres has gone goalless from his five latest matches. That does not prevent Gabriel Martinelli from praising his Swedish teammate. We will try to give him the ball as much as possible so that he can make 30-40 goals this season, says the Brazilian according to The Mirror.

Martinelli scored one of the goals, a rebound after Gyökeres hit the post, when Arsenal beat Olympiakos in the Champions League with 2–0 earlier in the week.

The Brazilian winger has high thoughts about Viktor Gyökeres:

We are very pleased with him, we trust him and we know about his qualities. He is one of the best strikers in the world right now.

Martinelli believes that team captain Martin Ødegaard's return to the team after injury can help both Gyökeres and the entire team.

It's very good to have Martin there because he always tries to find you. For Viktor as well, with his qualities, he likes to go behind the defensive line and attack the opponent's penalty area. That he plays with Martin will be good for him, says Martinelli.

Viktor Gyökeres has so far scored three goals in nine matches for Arsenal in league and cup games.

Arsenal face West Ham on Saturday in the Premier League in the last match before the international break. Sweden face Switzerland and Kosovo at home in the upcoming World Championship qualifiers.
