The author of the books about LasseMaja's detective agency and Nelly Rapp also works to strengthen children's writing and reading skills, the jury says.
In 2012, he launched the project "A Reading Class," which produced study guides for teachers and texts for children. He has also worked to ensure that preschools have their own book collections, according to the jury.
