The essay collection "History does not only judge the defeated" contains texts written after Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014 and up to the present, writes Dagens Nyheter.
Martin Kragh was a senior researcher at the Center for East European Studies at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI). In recent years, he was heard and seen mainly commenting on Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. As recently as June 22 this year, he gave a summer talk on Swedish Radio, where he spoke about, among other things, the long cancer treatment he had undergone and was still receiving. A month later, UI announced that Kragh had died.
