Markström and Wallstedt will be able to share the Tre Kronor goal when Olympic hockey starts next month, but in last night's NHL round they each guarded their own bag.
Markström, who allowed nine goals in a game last week, has been mixed and matched lately. Last night he perhaps got a bit of revenge with a save percentage of just under 91 percent. Minnesota goalie Jesper Wallstedt certainly saved more pucks - but finished the game with a tepid 82.8 percent.
The match was tied for a long time before New Jersey's Jesper Bratt - also an Olympic qualifier - scored twice in the space of 21 seconds in the third period.
