Maria Lindström is based in Stockholm and has published eleven albums and a collection of poetry. She has previously been awarded the Birger Sjöberg Prize and the Swedish Poetry Prize, among others.
The Olle Adolphson Memorial Prize is awarded for "significant contributions in the field of verse poetry". The prize money is 75,000 kronor.
