Marcus Johansson most recently played for the NHL's Minnesota Wild and was also part of Sweden's Olympic team. Now he is set to return to SHL club Färjestad.

The contract runs through next season.

"Playing in front of Färjestad's fans is something you never forget. There's always good pressure and I've seen a lot on TV at the end. I'm looking forward to hearing the pressure again when it boils over," Johansson said in a comment on the club's social media.

Johansson was part of the Swedish championship team that won gold with Färjestad in 2009.
