Moto GP star Marc Marquez is historic. The Spaniard took on Sunday his ninth World Championship title – the first since 2019.

Marquez becomes the first driver to win the World Championship after a five-year hiatus. The title is his seventh in the Moto GP class.

It's impossible for me to even talk right now, said Marquez in an interview directly after the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday, where he came second and thus secured the World Championship title, according to Expressen.

The 32-year-old Marquez was involved in a serious accident during the 2020 season and was not fully restored until 2022, after undergoing four operations, among other things.

Marc Marquez previously drove for the Honda team, but now belongs to Ducati.
