Boston scored five goals in the game against Toronto. The Canadian team couldn't keep up with that pace, but Swedes on both teams added color to the game, which ended 5–3.

The pace of scoring was furious at the start of the match. Less than four minutes into the first period, Boston had taken a 2–1 lead through Viktor Arvidsson's goal.

Several Swedes also provided assists during the game. Hampus Lindholm played Boston teammate David Pastrnak in the second period and a nice partnership between William Nylander and Oliver Ekman-Larsson helped Toronto player John Tavares reduce the game to 3–4.

The final period was scoreless except for Boston's Fraser Minten's 5–3 goal, which he scored around three minutes before the end of the game.
