Sweden's Viktor Arvidsson picked up his first point early in the first period when he set up teammate Pavel Zacha. He then scored himself midway through the second period, set up by Sweden's Hampus Lindholm.
Elias Lindholm was also assisted by Hampus Lindholm on his first goal of the game, which came via a wrist shot early in the third period. Elias Lindholm then made it 6–3 into an empty net with another wrist shot, with around 30 seconds left in the game.
