Michael Carrick took over as interim manager at Manchester United in mid-January after Ruben Amorim was sacked. Since then, United have won three consecutive matches, against Manchester City, Arsenal, and now Fulham.
Casemiro opened the scoring from a free kick. Matheus Cunha added another early in the second half. In the final minutes, Fulham reduced the deficit and equalised, but in the fourth minute of added time, Benjamin Sesko scored the winning goal for United.
United are now fourth in the league table, a position that qualifies them for the Champions League. Fulham are eighth.
Carrick, 44, played for Manchester United between 2006 and 2018.
