Skinner has led United since 2021, including to Champions League play and the FA Cup title. It is now clear that the coach is leaving the Super League club.
"Marc leaves after playing a significant role in the development of Manchester United's women's team. The club would like to extend its warmest thanks for his professionalism, commitment and dedication," Manchester United wrote in a press release.

The Super League kicks off in a month. Manchester United face London City Lionesses in the opening match.
