A couple of days ago, Marc Skinner chose to step down as coach of Manchester United's women's team.
Now the replacement is ready, Eva Olid has signed a two-year contract with the club.
“This is a dream come true,” she says in a statement on the club's website.
The Spaniard most recently came from Scottish side Hearts, whom she led from the second division to the club's first league title earlier this year.
No fewer than five Swedes play for Manchester United - Fridolina Rolfö, Ellen Wangerheim, Julia Zigiotti Olme, Anna Sandberg and Hanna Lundkvist - and they now have a new coach.
