This summer, Swedish fans may get to see big stars like Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, and Amad Diallo in Sweden, when Manchester United comes to Stockholm and the Strawberry arena to play a preseason match.
"Both teams will field their regular squad, so here you have the chance to see today's stars and this summer's signings in action", writes the organizer Scandsports in a press release according to Aftonbladet.
And it won't be just any match. For the opponent is Leeds, one of the club's biggest rivals.
There is an enormous rivalry between these two clubs. It usually can get extra intense between them when they meet, says Jesper Blomqvist – who won the Champions League with Manchester United in 1999 – to Aftonbladet.
The match is played on Saturday, July 19.
