There was a person who was perceived as pursuing Jimmie Åkesson, and he was perceived as being far too close, says Ola Österling, the police press spokesperson in Almedalen, to Aftonbladet.
When it became too much, he was handcuffed and taken away from the scene, Österling continues.
The man is said to have screamed, resisted and not listened to the Säpo guards' orders - which led to him being wrestled down.
He was never arrested but was taken away in a car and was later released.
