A knife-wielding man was apprehended outside Crown Princess Victoria's residence in Hagaparken on Wednesday evening, reports Aftonbladet.
It's a man who has been in the area and behaved strangely, and when checked, a knife was found, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson for the Stockholm police, to the newspaper.
The Royal Court has been informed about the incident.
The Royal Court has received information that yesterday at 5 pm, the guards at the gate of Haga Palace called the police because there was a man who was behaving differently. After that, it's a police matter, says the Royal Court's information manager Margareta Thorgren to Expressen.
The man is suspected of violating the knife law and preparing for aggravated assault. He is now detained.
