A man in his 60s is said to have expressed a desire to "eliminate Maria and her family because she is such a horrible lizard" in a text message to the Foreign Minister.
The man is now suspected of making unlawful threats. The prosecutor believes that the threat was "such that Maria Malmer Stenergard could be expected to feel serious fear for her own or someone else's personal safety." Damages of 10,000 kronor for the violation are being sought.
