Kelvin Evans of Atlanta was arrested this summer on suspicion of stealing several items from a rental car belonging to Beyoncé's choreographer Christopher Grant. Surveillance camera footage was a large part of the evidence, and prosecutors had sought a six-year prison sentence, Billboard reports.

However, Evans was sentenced to two years in prison followed by three years of probation after agreeing to a plea deal and pleading guilty; the case did not go to trial.

It is unclear if and when Beyoncé will release the unreleased songs. The artist's most recent album, "Cowboy Carter," was released in 2024.
