In addition to the aggravated pimping, the 61-year-old man is also convicted of one count of attempted rape, two counts of assault, six counts of unlawful threats, and a minor doping offense.
"Protracted nagging"
"We have found it established that the man has influenced and induced his wife to perform sexual acts on herself, broadcast them online, accept additional sex buyers and try to get neighbors and customers to have sex with her," says Councilor Johan Ahlberg in a press release.
"In many cases, this was also done through prolonged nagging and unpleasant, condescending language," he continues.
The man was also charged with eight counts of rape against his wife, which involved him allegedly forcing the woman to perform sexual acts on herself that were comparable to intercourse. However, he was acquitted of the rape charges because the district court found that in seven of the cases it was not possible to establish that the victim had participated involuntarily. In the eighth case, it was not investigated which sexual acts had taken place.
The man denies
The man has consistently denied all charges. Instead, he has claimed that he helped his wife, who allegedly wanted to sell sex. The man has handled her online ads, booked clients, and planned which sexual acts would be performed. According to the indictment, he has also planned the price and payment, driven the woman to and from sex buyers and monitored meetings with clients.
"The main hearing has been long and demanding for the parties and others involved," says Councilor Ahlberg.
The man was arrested in October 2025 after being reported by his then-wife. He previously held a high position within the Hells Angels. In addition to the prison sentence, the man was also sentenced to pay 200,000 kronor in damages to the woman.
In the case, 29 people were also charged with purchasing sexual services and sexual acts, 28 of whom were convicted of a total of 56 sexual purchases. Sentences for these people range from imprisonment to probation and conditional sentences, in most cases with daily fines.
