In Växjö District Court, he was sentenced to one year and ten months in prison; the Göta Court of Appeal increased the sentence to two and a half years in prison, reports Smålandsposten.
The compensation to the victims, who were filmed taking showers and going to the toilet, will also be increased to a total of 1.1 million kronor.
The secretly recorded material was shared on online forums by the man, who confessed to the crime.
"Such publication has taken place for a long time and has consistently involved a large number of views," the Court of Appeal writes in its ruling.
The offences were discovered when a relative of one of the filmed women raised the alarm in 2022.
