Police in Colombia have arrested a man who attempted to smuggle cocaine in an unusual way: in what the authorities describe as a "narcotic wig".
The man had a toupee, and under it, the police found 220 grams of cocaine hidden in several small bags.
The 40-year-old was arrested at the airport in Cartagena when he was about to board a plane to Amsterdam earlier in the week. The hidden cargo was discovered by a body scanner. The toupee then had to be cut off to access the drugs.
The value of the cocaine on the European black market is estimated to be equivalent to approximately 110,000 kronor.
