The woman was found dead in her home in Värnhem on June 29. Suspicion fell on the man, who by then had left the country. The man was requested to be detained in his absence and was arrested in Poland on Saturday.
He will now be requested to be extradited to Sweden. It is expected to take up to a few weeks, prosecutor Anna Jansson tells Sydsvenskan.
