The man claimed self-defense and sought acquittal, but the district court sided with the prosecutor.
The district court said in its ruling: "It is obvious that NN, like any other adult, must have realized that such a blow could be fatal. NN has just as clearly been indifferent to this." Nya Wermlands-Tidningen reports.
The man's lawyer has not yet decided whether to appeal the verdict.
