The stabbing occurred on Wednesday afternoon. Witnesses at the scene tried to stop the bleeding.
Several people were there caring for the man, says police spokesperson Mats Eriksson.
Police are not saying where on the man's body he was injured. The man is in his 30s, and his condition is unknown.
Shortly after the stabbing, the police arrested a man in his 40s. He is suspected of attempted murder.
