We received the alarm around 10:16 p.m. on Saturday evening that someone had been stabbed and when we arrived at the scene we were able to determine that a man had been stabbed in the abdomen which is suspected to have punctured his lung, says Jon Franzén, duty officer at Police Region West.
Several people were in the apartment during the incident and one man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
It concerns a man aged 55. Apparently there was an argument between the men which ended with one of them being stabbed, says Jon Franzén.
Police have interviewed witnesses at the scene, which is cordoned off while technicians arrive.
It is unclear how seriously injured the stabbed man is.
"I can't say whether it's life-threatening or not. He was taken to hospital by ambulance," says Jon Franzén.
