The man is in his 40s and was found injured after a knife attack outdoors. A man in his 20s was later arrested and detained on suspicion of attempted murder.
Shortly before midnight, a 25-year-old man was injured in the leg in another knife attack nearby. According to Region Skåne, the man is slightly injured.
This incident is also being investigated as a suspected attempted murder, but no one has been arrested.
The events have no connection that we can see, even though they are close to each other in time and location, says Kerstin Gossé, press spokesperson for Malmö Police.
