A man in his 40s was shot with some form of air weapon in connection with a bike ride in the Tjärna Ängar district of Borlänge on Thursday evening.
He hears a bang and then feels pain in his back. It turns out that he is bleeding from his back. Patrols that arrive at the scene make the assessment that he has been shot with some form of air weapon, says Torbjörn Roos, duty officer at the police.
Then we also found a shot dove in the area.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but it is not a matter of any more serious injuries. The alarm came in just after 10 pm and is classified as aggravated assault.
