The shooting was reported just before 8 p.m. It took place outdoors in a residential area, and police responded with several units. The scene has been searched, including with a dog patrol.
The crime scene is cordoned off and we are working, among other things, to talk to witnesses and review surveillance footage, Anna Lärk said earlier.
She said police have questioned people who were in the area when the shooting occurred. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter, but his life could not be saved. Police confirmed his death late Friday evening.
The incident is being investigated as murder.
