We received an alarm at 23.10 that a person claims to have been shot and is on their way to the hospital, says the police's press spokesperson Anna Westberg.
A short while later, a shot man arrived at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna. The man was then conscious.
A little later, we were able to find a suspected crime scene outdoors where this man was likely shot, says Westberg.
The police have found traces indicating that a shooting took place at the location.
No one has been arrested.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder and serious weapons offense.
