The incident occurred during a shooting practice. The man allegedly fired a shot and was then hit by a ricochet.
"He was hit in the upper body, according to initial reports," says police spokesperson Marie Andersson.
The man, who is in his mid-40s, was taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
The incident is being investigated by the police and weapons have been seized for technical examination.
