The victim is considerably older and was stabbed several times. He has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, police spokesperson Ola Österling said.
The police are investigating the incident as attempted murder. The crime scene has been cordoned off for forensic examination.
The alarm was received at 6:41 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
