A man in his 30s has been injured in a workplace accident at a church in Vännäs in Västerbotten. He fell from a scaffolding at the church, reports local media.
How high the fall was is not known. The injured man was taken to hospital.
The alarm about the accident came at 15.30 on Thursday. Region Västerbotten announced in the evening that the man is seriously injured and has been admitted to the intensive care unit.
The police are investigating the workplace accident and have, among other things, cordoned off the area at the scene of the accident and held interviews with witnesses.
