A man in his 40s is sentenced to six years in prison for gross rape of a woman at a nursing home in Värmland.
The assault is alleged to have taken place in February this year at the nursing home where the man was employed.
According to the verdict from Värmlands district court, the crime should be considered gross as the man has shown particular ruthlessness when he exploited his position as staff at the nursing home, a place where the woman should feel safe.
The man is also to pay 320,000 kronor in damages to the affected woman.
The convicted man denies the crime.
