According to the verdict, several fights broke out between the men during the match in Västerbotten's inland in October last year and in the end the man bit off the entire fingertip including the nail on the plaintiff's right index finger, reports P4 Västerbotten.
In the interrogation, the plaintiff says that the man had a piece of his finger in his mouth which he then spat out.
The convicted man admits to the act, but says that he acted in self-defense. He is sentenced to prison for assault and shall pay 23,200 kronor in damages.
