The Court of Appeal upholds the district court's judgment, which, among other things, concerned attempted murder. The man shot at four police officers and threatened a fifth with a pistol. He was then himself hit by a shot from the police and injured in the shoulder.
"What is primarily aggravating in this case is that the act was directed against several police officers on duty and that several shots were fired at them at close range," says Court of Appeal Judge Fredrik Landgren in a press release from the Court of Appeal for Skåne and Blekinge.
