The man, in his 60s, was wrongly paid almost 185,000 kronor in 2024. According to YA, the man was on sick leave but worked for a couple of months. The newspaper writes that the man said he had forgotten to report to the Social Insurance Agency that he had worked.
The previously unpunished man was sentenced to a suspended sentence and a daily fine totaling 10,800 SEK.
