A man in his 70s is missing after trying to swim after a drifting boat in Piteå on Saturday afternoon, according to the police.
The alarm was raised at 4 pm and initially, a helicopter, a drone, and two police patrols were called to assist the rescue service in the search.
But by 6:30 pm, the rescue service ended its operation. The police divers continue to search.
The missing man's relatives have been informed about the incident.
