The man is suspected of particularly serious drug offenses, particularly serious drug smuggling, and of aiding and abetting attempted murder.
"We can confirm that a man has been arrested abroad as a result of an international wanted list from Sweden. This is another good example of how international cooperation between law enforcement agencies works," says Police Chief Anders Wiberg, head of the international unit at Noa.
"The arrest is a new result of targeted work over time between the Turkish and Swedish legal systems," says Anders Wiberg.
