A woman in her 95s was found seriously injured in her home in Staffanstorp on Tuesday and died later at the hospital. Now a 92-year-old man is being requested to be detained for murder.
It was the home care service that found the injured woman and raised the alarm. The suspected man, who according to the police had a relationship with the woman, was in the apartment. He was arrested in connection with the incident and was detained the following evening.
