A man in his 80s is suspected of having been murdered in a residence in Ale municipality outside Gothenburg.
The man was found severely injured on Monday morning and died of his injuries. A person who was also present in the residence has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The emergency call already indicates that the man is seriously injured and he is soon confirmed dead, says Jens Andersson, press spokesperson for the police.
The injuries were caused by external violence and a preliminary investigation into murder has been initiated.
