It is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson for the police.
The police were called at 5:47 p.m. on Friday. The suspected murder occurred in a villa on the island in Haninge municipality.
The site is cordoned off for a forensic investigation.
