Man in his 70s dies after car crashes into tree in Mönsterås Municipality

A man in his 70s has died after a traffic accident on Sunday evening, police said.

For an unclear reason, the man drove off the road and into a tree in Mönsterås Municipality.

He was taken to hospital with very serious injuries. Medical staff said his injuries were life-threatening, according to P4 Kalmar.

The car has been seized, and police are investigating the accident as gross negligence in traffic.
