A man in his 70s has been found dead after falling into the water from a boat off Tjörn. The alarm came in at 10.37 am on Tuesday and a large search effort was launched, involving, among others, the sea rescue service.
Just before 1 pm, the police announced that the man had been found drowned.
There were two men who were out fishing and one of them fell overboard in connection with this, says the police's press spokesperson Christian Brattgård.
No crime is suspected in connection with the incident.
